The Remember Balloons

The Remember Balloons is a moving new dance-theater production that brings the award-winning children’s book by Jessie Oliveros and Dana Wulfekotte to life through contemporary choreography, original music, and imaginative digital projections. Created by director/choreographer Dominic Moore-Dunson and composer Theron Brown, this powerful performance blends storytelling with expressive movement to gently guide families through conversations about Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss, and grief. Rooted in intergenerational connection, the production is designed to resonate with audiences of all ages, offering a heartfelt and visually stunning experience.

With a rich score that draws from jazz, blues, Motown, and classical influences, and choreography that fuses modern and social dance styles, The Remember Balloons captures the emotional depth of the original story while creating an engaging, family-friendly experience on stage. This original production features choreography by Ayako Lloyd (The Lexington Theatre Company, Cincinnati Ballet), Brance Cornelius (The Lexington Theatre Company), and Katie Palmer of Boyle County Schools. With performances by talented Boyle County Schools dancers and a featured artist from The Lexington Theatre Company, this fresh take on The Nutcracker honors the traditional story while adding a vibrant, imaginative twist.

Audiences will join Marie on a magical journey through the Land of Sweets—brought to life in unexpected ways. Six One Five Collective

Six One Five Collective is a collaborative group of Nashville-based singer-songwriters known for their genre-blending sound and powerhouse vocals. Featuring a rotating lineup of accomplished artists, the collective brings together elements of country, Americana, folk, and pop to create a dynamic and heartfelt live experience. Each performance is a unique, in-the-round showcase of original music, rich harmonies, and engaging storytelling, offering audiences an intimate glimpse into the heart of Nashville’s creative spirit. Their current single on country radio is Doozies.

Six One Five Collective members have written hits for major country artists. Nicole Witt has penned songs for George Strait, Lee Brice, and Rodney Atkins, including the IBMA Song of the Year “Brothers of the Highway.” Michael Logen has written for Kelly Clarkson and had songs featured on shows like Virgin River, while Jamie Floyd’s credits include cuts by Miranda Lambert and Kesha. Their collective talent and chart success bring a rich, authentic Nashville sound to every performance.

Along the way, they unknowingly help the goats, bears, and pigs, preventing disaster—without any of the animals ever encountering a true villain. This imaginative retelling seamlessly interweaves three classic tales into a heartwarming adventure that celebrates friendship and courage.

Together, they set out on a mission to help Jimmy conquer second grade art, and along the way, they both learn a little something new about inspiration. Join Jimmy and Pete on an adventure of friendship, all the way to Paris and back in a VW Bus!

Fun Fact: Director/choreographer Dan Knechtges is a Tony Award nominee and has directed or choreographed five Broadway shows including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Xanadu, and Lysistrata Jones.

Featuring songs from the classic film, including “The Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination,” this whimsical journey through Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory is a treat for all ages—brought to life by the creativity and dedication of Boyle County’s young artists!

The Perondi's Stunt Dog Experience

This cast of performers and stunt dogs will delight audiences of all ages, with high energy excitement from beginning to end. During the Stunt Dog Experience you will witness some of the most incredible dog stunts and behaviors ever performed by dogs. The experience has amazing dog tricks, big air stunts, Frisbee dogs, comedy antics, dancing dogs, athletic feats, and is the most entertaining show of its kind!

Every stunt dog show includes interactive crowd participation. It’s not just a show, it’s an experience! Audience members will chant "Dog-gone Fun" and be involved in the excitement of the production. The show features the “Golden Bone Showdown” which is a series of five separate challenges that will test each dogs intelligence, speed, accuracy, and leaping ability.
